How to create pre-start and daily check forms in Safee EWD+

EWD+ users can create five paperless forms at no additional cost: trip plan, driver check, daily truck check, proof of delivery, and a free photo form. Forms are stored inside each date bar, so the timeline stays clean.

CREATING A DAILY TRUCK CHECK

Tap the forms icon and choose Truck Check. The prime mover rego is already filled from your work diary. Check items are grouped into essentials, fluids belts hoses and tanks, body check, and safety and security. The form assumes everything is fine unless you say otherwise — tap a tick to turn it into an X, then attach a photo of the issue from your gallery or taken fresh. The photo icon turns yellow once a photo is attached. Tap N/A to grey out an item that does not apply to your truck. Trailers are greyed out by default; tap N/A on a trailer to activate its check, and its rego appears if you have entered it in the work diary.

THE OTHER FORMS

The trip plan covers manifest number, loading and delivery locations, planned departure and arrival, average planned speed, speedo reading and weight information — with the source of weight set to con note, weighed at loading, weigh bridge or estimation, and documents attachable. Driver and fatigue details are pre-filled from your profile and work diary. The driver check is a checklist across self, vehicle, load, environment, operational instructions and regulatory — press Concerned to raise an issue to your base with a photo. Proof of delivery and the free photo form let you attach copies and notes.

FINDING YOUR FORMS AGAIN

Choose what time you want the form saved at, then tap Save. The timeline stays tidy because forms live inside the date bars. Tap the date bar to see that day’s forms, tap the pencil to open, view or change one, use the front and back arrows to move between days, and the U-turn button to go back to the timeline.
