Using Compliance View During Roadside Interceptions
How to use Compliance View during a roadside interception
When an officer asks to see your work diary, open Compliance View and hand over the device. Compliance View shows the officer what they need and nothing else, and only you can leave it.
WHAT THE OFFICER CAN SEE
They can move between your days with the left and right arrows, going back as far as 28 days, and view your work and rest switches in a table format. The investigation aid shows whether there are any breaches. They can see previous officers’ annotations, and email the last 28 days of your work diary to themselves. They can view your driver information, licence details, and accreditations such as BFM. They can also view Safee system information and Safee’s accreditation certificate.
ANNOTATIONS AND TWO-UP
If the officer wants to add an annotation, they go to the annotations line, press the annotation icon, fill in their information and confirm. If you are driving two-up, the officer can press the two-up information to see the second driver’s details.
STEP BY STEP
When the officer hands the device back, press the X, then the back arrow.
Enter your PIN, and you are back on your timeline screen.
